It's almost like UO/Shadowbane/'s impossible to "truly play" this game or even get far, unless you group-up and interact with other. I know saying this will hurt myself (making the queue longer), but I still wanna say this:ĪrcheAge is much more group-orientated than your common themepark MMO. TRADEPACK BONUS ARCHEAGE MAP FULL
Tough call here imo you either go to a server with less player with ghost town and still get land.Ī server with lots player till you need to que for hours and get no land but everywhere is full of action pvp and so on. Opening more server would also means some server will become ghost town due to lack of player.Too many player in a server would mean no land for everyone. Since a lot of people are abusing the system to own 3-5 land to earn more money and stuff. Unless Trion open more server up it is quite impossible for everyone to own the basic of 8x8 and 16x16 farm per person. Regardless of what arguments others will tell me that you can live without owning a land.I might as well go and play other game why bother wasting my time here right? IMHO without owning a land Archeage is basically not archeage anymore sadly. It will be just like any typical mmo questing and pretty much that's it. Land provides materials that you can farm and need for lvling your profiency lvl.Ĭrafting would be easier and end game gears all come from crafting. Land also provide house which you can use for crafting and storage basically you will have easier access. Land can be used a storage area for tradepack. (Illegal farm is a way to go but too risky and not worth the time) Your will need land to secure your plantation basically player cant touch your stuff inside your land. You will definately earn more money with a land as long as you constantly plant it Owning a land gives you a lot of advantages in the game. If your playing-session is less than 2 hour, but if you need to go through the login process, then just take my advice: don't waste your time, go do other stuff. I really like the game, the only complains I have:ġ) Long-queue, over 2k sometimes, over 1 hour waiting.Ģ) Occasionally dc while in-queue or in-game, which puts me back into the long 's a vicious cycle and very time-wasting. So yea, worst headstart/launch ever, I gotta agree, even FFXIV pales in comparison. This says a lot about the kind of publisher you are dealing with. It's almost the same situation back when FFXIV is launched.įFXIV stopped digital sales immediately & increased server. Crafting efficiency and labor cost is reduced with Commerce skill level.A lot of people are calling it a big scam and worst headstart ever, just read the forums Each region has its own unique Trade Packages, with different crafting ingredients. You may have to tick the respective check boxes to have them shown. Workbenches and all forms of turn in points are shown on the map. The "Owner" tag on the mouseover tool tip displays whoever handled the pack last to check who the crafter is, open up the character menu and look in the "Trade Pack" slot on the bottom right. A Trade Pack will say "Free loot" on the mouse tool tip when hovering over it if it's not on protected land. Besides those who have permission to use the farm it is protected from the public. Trade Packs may be placed on player owned land as well, as long as the right permissions are set. When a Trade Package is delivered, 80% of its profit goes to the player who delivered it, while 20% goes to the player who crafted it. Simply picking it up and placing it back down will reset the timer. Players often engage in PvP in order to take each other's Trade Packages - be careful when going across PvP zones. Trade Packages can be dropped, where it can be picked up by any other player.
